A collection of scents perfect for wearing in the warmer days of the year! All will be retired when the supply runs out, or when the warm weather does, whichever comes first, so get em while you can!
Returning from 2011, we have:
-Tilly: Sweet, juicy peaches, rows upon rows of tomato plants ready to harvest, damp earth and Lily-of-the-Valley underfoot, a trail of fragrant honeysuckle, and a locket filled with intoxicating amber. A fruity floral with green notes to cut the sweetness.
-Scarlett: A deceptively complex blend of Neroli, Cilantro, and Rhubarb. A sweet summertime smell for all the Southern belles. -Highland Crest: The clean scent of an Ocean breeze, the waves dashed against the rocks below, ripe with Plumeria blossoms, cliffside Heather, and a worn Suede jacket to cut the chill.
-Latitude: Coconut flesh, lychee, mango and jackfruit, pineapple juice, vanilla, honeysuckle and magnolia. A sweet and tropical fruity-floral fragrance, perfect for the hottest summer days.
-Stolen Bouquet: Purple blooms sneakily gathered from the gardens of others while nobody was looking- lilacs and violets, accented with orchids, with a dash of powdery vanilla added to ground the scent.
-Tea Rose Mimosa: Red Tea, white rose, and raw honey; brewed, cooled, and splashed with sparkling champagne and served upon an antique wooden tray. A soft, delicate scent- rose haters, this one might just steal your heart.
-Violette: Wood Violets, Leather, and Honeycomb. Simple and sweet, Violette will change on your skin as you wear it, giving each note a chance to take center stage.
-Berry Amber: Wild strawberries, sun-warmed cherries, white amber, and vine-ripened grapes. It's delightfully tart and sweet, but once the amber appears it takes the edge off the fruitiness. And, NEW for 2012, a handful of fragrances which have captured facets of the warmer season:
-All The Fires: All of 'em. Green Tea, Squash Blossoms, Tomato plants, sweet Osmanthus, tangy Kumquat, Valencia Oranges, Veitivert, and the memory of a Wasabi burn.
-Anael: "Scions of Anael have the telltale scent of apples which arises from their skin when feeling strong emotions". Jasmine vines, a bushel filled with a variety of Apples, a hint of Balsam Pine, Skin Musk, and Sandalwood
-Belle: Sitting in the shade on the front porch, fan in hand, summertime is here. A fruity-Floral Chypre for the hottest of days. Persimmon, Jasmine, Tea Olive, and Exotic Woods.
-Eva: A gorgeous gal deserves a gorgeous scent, wouldn't you agree?Vanilla, Jasmine, Coconut, Cherry Blossoms, Lychee, and sweet-tart Meyer Lemons. Stunningly strong and feminine. -Oceanside: "Oh, if I could only coax you overboard, to leave these lulling shores, to get you oceanside"... Inspired by everything ocean-y, most especially my little home by the seaside salt marsh. A cool Ocean breeze, Monoi de Tahiti, Beach grass, Sea moss, Tuberose, an oversized white Linen shirt, and Rockrose and Mimosa blossoms. Gorgeous. -Queen Bea: For the Queen would accept nothing less. Juicy Apricots drizzled with fresh-from-the-comb Honey, Plum wine, Peonies, Freesia, a whiff of Violet, warm Cardamom, and White Patchouli.
-X's For Eyes: A decidedly masculine scent, this one's reminiscent of summer nights spent crossing out the eyes of every person in every photograph in every catalog or magazine in the house. Aggressive! Cologne samples, Sunscreen, Citrus drink, Night air, Juniper bushes and the ever-present aroma of mom's herb garden.
Now, there's still a few tricks up my sleeve, so consider this list a "work in progress". If all goes as planned, there will be a few more additions to this list before Fall returns :)
